Maureen McCabe is a real estate agent in the Columbus area of Ohio.  She works with Real Living HER, which she describes as "the best real estate company in Columbus Ohio."  Maureen writes a highly acclaimed blog that covers topics relevant to the local area, including real estate, news, local events, and more.

She updates her blog frequently, more than most real estate bloggers we've reviewed.  She sometimes posts as much as twice a day, and the content is always interesting and unique.  She includes everything from information regarding local haunted houses to a poll asking readers to vote on the best pizza place in Columbus.  She writes reviews of numerous restaurants in the area.  She keeps readers up to date on local community events.

One of the most interesting aspects of her blog is a section called "365 Things" where she has posted an aggregation of 365 things to do in the Columbus, Ohio, area.  Maureen may be the only blogger in Columbus who has compiled such a list.  The Columbus zoo, a local Italian festival, and an upcoming Veteran's Day parade are just a few of the activities that made the cut.  A similar category, "365 Places," contains posts that document 365 different places to go or to live in the Columbus area.  This is impressive.

The information she provides is also very useful.  One post documents local neighborhoods that have been afflicted by outbreaks of bedbugs. She points readers toward the Central Ohio Bed Bug Task Force and lists zip codes for areas that have been most affected.  This information is highly relevant to individuals and families considering moving into the Columbus area.

Maureen has made it her goal to act as a local expert and knowledge provider for the Columbus area.  Her blog reflects this focus, and she accomplishes her goal better than anyone else we've seen.  We loved her blog and we're awarding it five stars.  Check it out for yourself at ColumbusBestBlog.com.
