Jodi Summers is a real estate professional who lives and works in the Santa Monica area of greater Los Angeles, CA.  She deals primarily with investment real estate and industrial or commercial properties.  She operates several blogs related to the commercial real estate industry and the local Santa Monica area, but one that stands out especially is her blog on Southern California commercial space, SoCalOfficeRealEstateBlog.com.

The market updates Jodi provides are one-of-a-kind and highly detailed.  She provides abundant statistics, graphs and other visual diagrams.  She gets her information from a variety of reputable industry sources and provides links to these sources at the end of each post.  You rarely see this kind of scholarly care taken on the internet.

More importantly, Jodi provides significant analysis of these facts and figures.  She summarizes her posts with thoughts like, " Despite our impressive statistics, with record-high unemployment, the office sector needs employment gains to generate increased demand for space."  Simple and to-the-point.  Jodi makes sure that her readers understand what she is trying to communicate.  This is highly valuable to anyone interested in investing in commercial property in the Los Angeles area.

The second unique focus of Jodi's blog is her emphasis on environmental responsibility and energy efficiency in the commercial real estate sector.  She sees this as a developing trend that will enrich societies as more and more buildings are designed with these visions in mind, and she strives to present sustainability as a value add to potential investors.  He blog features numerous articles explaining the details of different types of renewable energy as well as praising buildings that have achieved optimal success in this regard.
