I started in the loan business at the end of 1979 in San Francisco, my hometown (Go Giants!), and have been in the business ever since.

I started as a business development loan officer, and after 16 years with the same company, rose to VP of Nationwide Operations with close to 600 loan officers, and 5 Regional Mangagers reporting to me.

More recently, I was a District Manager for Fidelity Mortgage in Tempe with 50-60 loan officers and 5 managers as well as responsibility for the Dallas,TX operations.

In 2007 I started Serve-U-Best Mortgage with the intentions of building a business. Our commitment is very simple:

Do NOT think that going to a "Mortgage Banker" is better.
"Mortgage Bankers" typically are not able to place a wide variety of loans due to their limited product line. As a full service Mortgage broker, Serve-U-Best Mortgage, LLC has the ability to deal with over many lenders from across the U.S. Mortgage Bankers also are forced to sell rates at "above par rates" while still charging the normal closing costs.
