<I have over 6 years experience in mortgage origination servicing the San Diego area. Currently I work for one of the premeir botique lenders in California Opes Advisors. With over 2 billion in funding last year Opes Advisors is one of the fastest growing mortgage bankers in the industry. While most of our loans are underwritten and funded inhouse we do have a niche broker platform for loans that are outside the Opes box. That goes for non-warrantable condos, asset depletion loans, and many other exotic loan products.
In terms of putting a offer out to a client, we try to take the transactional nature of mortgages out of the equation. I focus on the mortgage plan, does the loan fit into the someones best interest? Does it help them take advantage of the tax benifits of home ownership or does it over leverage a client?
My goal is to provide each client with the satisfaction that they looked at the home purchase or refinance from every angle and also took a hard look at their financial future. If a client is qualified and wishes to proceed with their loan we do it with the best rate and fee structure available and in a timely, efficient fashion. >
