I stumbled upon the mortgage world in 1999 and started my career as a junior loan officer, I call it "the getting the marbles out" stage. This time helped me learn mortgage products and helped me gain confidence when talking with potential clients. I spent the next few years originating 2nd mortgages, lines of credit and 80/20 combo loans, this also happened to be the time frame that was extremely lucrative! In 2008 the business came to a screaching halt and it was also the time that I moved from Southern California to Colorado...it was the best move that I've ever made!
My first 3 years in Colorado I focused on purchase business and primarily that came from internet leads. In May 2011 I decided that I needed a significant change and I started my new path at First Cal-Colorado. We are a 100% referral based company, meaning all of my business comes from the relationships that I have built over the past 12 years. While challenging at times, I absolutely love what I've been able to create at First Cal. What do we offer at First Cal? We have every source of financing available for current homebuyers or people wanting to purchase a new home. I have recently opened a branch office in Erie, CO, which also happens to be my hometown!
