2nd mortgage loans

Try a local bank in Spencer County first. Secondary market for 2nd mortgages is not a good option now. Bedford Bank in Lagrange Ky may be able to help.

There are lenders out there doing them, but mostly credit unions and a few big banks.. It's best to use someone local, and I would certainly try the credit union before the big bank.. A local credit union or community bank will do them on the best terms if you meet their usually strict/conservative guidelines. If you need a more aggressive loan program (you need more money) and are less rate sensitive, then a local mortgage broker might have a program that's suitable for you.
