5/1 ARM or 30 year fixed rate jumbo?

I will be living in my house more than 5 year i'm sure but i can't say longer than 10. Are there better options i should consider? I assume interest rates will rise in the next couple years if tapering and a recession hit by keithCtaylor8178821 from Hamilton, Alabama. Oct 11th 2013 Reply

Sounds like you should look into a 7 or 10 yr arm.....Have your local lender run an analysis for you and compare....Good luck...

PS. We do have that option if you'd like me to look at options for you. Pricing on a jumbo varies greatly based on the loan scenario and the borrower's qualifications. pdumouchel@primelending.com or 843-619.6025 - would be pleased to work with you!

Take the 30 year fixed rate unless you see a substantial difference in the rates between the 10 year and the 30 year...

7/1 jumbo or 10/1 jumbo would be best.. and for most lenders the pricing on the 7 year would be less. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

hi there: I would look into a 7 or 10 yr jumbo arm product. Our bank does offer very competitive jumbo rates with an Interest Only feature should you be interested. We will match all fees etc to earn your business. Mike 703 505 5300 Lending Nationwide
