What lender or broker will work with us after chapter 13
We tried for years to get BOA to modification instead we got a lot of fees now we owe more on house than it's worth I had two major surgeries since 2010 l am back at work now but owe more than the is worth by dhillsr17146 from Midlothian, Virginia. Mar 11th 2017

Currently, once you are out of bankruptcy for one year you can qualify for a house. Foreclosure is a different story. Have you considered a short sale--it will save your credit. Also you may be eligible for HARP--a government program extended until Sept 2017.DO NOT deal with the mortgage company on your own--find someone who specializes in these types of things. If you are a VET or have a FHA loan there is free help from those agencies.
