Are there any banks or government programs that can help young first time home buyers with a credit score 570?Please help any info would be appreciated banks are looking for a 620 credit score I have not built that up yet i know there has to be something for first time buyers by cindyk_632_396 from Alma, Georgia. Hi Cinday, some federally charter banks have programs that go below 600 credit score. Call your local mortgage broker as he can shop your situation around to several Lenders at a time typically big banks Stop at 620 score...but score is not the only factor, depth of credit, income etc...all come into play...options are not great, but it is possible
There are lenders out there that will go below 620, however the guidelines are stricter... the real question is why your score is 570... if you contact a local mortgage broker, not a bank, and apply with them... they can look at your complete profile and determine how to find the right financing choices for your particular scenario, and can even advise you on how to increase your score in a short period of time...
