If you are referring to the $8,000 first time home buyer federal tax credit, then absolutely not. You may however, find other first time home buyer tax credits that are specific to your local municipalities. Speak with a local mortgage banker who can provide better guidance. Happy Lent!

Good Morning! There are no tax credits for VA loans! You do get the benefit of 100% financing as you already know! Thank you and enjoy the day!

There are no current nationwide programs. As previously stated, zero down payment and no mortgage insurance on your VA loan is one heck of a big benefit over other loans! www.VA-IRRRL-LOAN-MN.com

There are no federal tax credits, but it is possible that your state may have a program. However, there are tax benefits to owning a home. You get to deduct the mortgage interest and property taxes from your gross income. For many buyers this is a very big help.
