Check with your local town office as well. The second part of that is making sure you have a lender that will accept DPA. There can be overlays that don't allow them, requirements for 'minimum borrower contributions', etc. depending on the circumstances. (i.e. FHA vs. VA, 5% down vs. 20% down, etc.). I am local to MA and happy to help along the way.
