I asked what it was for they said I would have to pay that off thru the life of loan, that it was a charge of Bank of america I said why do I have to pay if they transferred my loan loan she said she would get back to me by Solis-6576 from , . Jul 9th 2013
Yeah make sure you stay on top of that. That isn't right.
Something doesn't sound right, you should not have to pay anything if B of A sold the servicing rights to your loan unless you were in arrears or had a major escrow shortage. I would definitely make sure you get in touch with both B of A and Nation Star don't wait for them to get back to you. This does not sound right. Could this be an escrow shortage? It would be a great idea to let a mortgage professional look at your statement and the demand letter so that you can get the best advice.
It would appear they have made some kind of mistake. If there was a shortage of escrow, this should have been itemized to you, when they sent you the servicing transfer notifications. I would send a letter, by trackable mail to both, along with a copy to your state's Attorney General, requesting anitemized listing of the cause for this charge, and documentation backing up the itemization (personally I would suggest giving them a specific time frameto reply, or they are acknowledging you don't owe it kind of language -- so it might pay to have an attorney draft it). As others noted, I wouldn't wait for them to get back to you.
The terms of your original deed of trust and note cannot be changed unless you agree to it in writing.. If you had an escrow shortage or if you were at some point in arrears on your payments and BofA agreed to put a few payments on the end of the loan, it could be that but they would itemize this for you in their accounting. Only way to know for sure is to continue to call both Nationstar and BofA until you get it resolved.. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Check your original loan documents carefully, it should be shown in your closing statement. It would not be as a result of the transfer to Nation Star.
