Great time to buy! As long as you have 640 FICO score and higher I can help with an FHA loan. They require 3.5% down amongst other things. It is better you speak with a pro and find out what you can qualify for. That would be a start. Make sure you get pre-approved before you talk with a Realtor. If you have any credit problems I work with all 3 credit bureaus and can improve FICO's score by a Rapid Re-score and a credit analyzer. I lend in all States. I hope this helps. RC

Terry,It depends on a number of other factors, including purchase price, credit, and debt to income ratio. If you have specific questions, I would be happy to answer them.Jason Wolkow

Hi Terry. It wouldn't be hard to get pre-qualified at all. Chances are if your credit is good, you may qualify for more than you want to spend. I am available to help you and can lend in Des Plaines. I can be reached at 866-901-3576. Patrick McCarthy, Northpointe Bank

As Jason referenced, there are many other factors that have to be disclosed to properly approve your home loan. In this day and age, make sure that you are fully approved subject to finding a home before moving forward regardless of how much money you have saved. Besides, it's not always about how much money you have in reserves although it does help.If I can be of further assistance, please call or text me at 512-522-7284.
