I have my eye on a foreclosed property in my neighborhood but there are issues with the HVAC system. It’s obvious that an A/C compressor unit is nowhere to be found and I am not sure if the furnace is working. Replacing the whole HVAC system is well within my budget but I’ve heard that some types of mortgages disqualify a borrower if a home has a defective HVAC system.
