Buying a house after changing careers

We live in Virginia and have been staying in our home for 3 years now. This is our first home and I recall that when we got the loan the lender was concerned with our income and job history. I recently changed careers from working in a bank to becoming a designer in a popular retail store. Our good credit history helped in closing the loan previously and we want to know if things can still work out when we look to buy a new home? by gordonjcp161 from Meadowview, Virginia. Having been a homeowner for a few years adds to your loan credentials, but without more details on your entire credit, job, income situation, its nearly impossible to determine if you will have issues getting a loan or if it will be clear sailing. The best course of action is to work with a Mortgage Broker licensed in your area. Starting the credit review process will give you a better handle on any issues you may have. The sooner you know if there are issues, the sooner you can begin dealing with them.
