I am a US Expat working in Manila, Philippines. I was born in California and I would want to invest in properties there before I retire. I want to know the steps on getting a mortgage given my situation. I have only worked for Philippine employers so all of my official documentation including taxes, assets, bank accounts, and income are from the Philippines. Do I need to submit 2 years of documentation to get approved for a loan? I’ve heard some friends getting rejected with their loan applications since they have an overseas address. by sacraver790 from Brentwood, California. Nov 26th 2021
