Can a lender help me rebuild my credit?

I’m currently trying to rebuild my credit, I have not missed a payment or had any new collections in the past 12 months and I only have a few lines of credit as of now. I plan on buying a house a year from now, but my credit score is still kind of low. I’m aware there are things in my credit that needs to be cleaned up. Can a mortgage lender help me think of a way to increase the chances of me buying a house? by dwendlansj44 from Ogden, Utah. Jul 21st 2022 Reply

Your mortgage lender is not a credit repair person, and not in the business of credit repair. With that said, your typical Loan Officer can usually review your credit report, than give you tips and advice based on what they see for you to potentially improve your credit scores. I lend for properties in MN, WI, IA, ND, SD. Find me at Wi-MortgageBroker.com - Cambria Mortgage, NMLS 274132
