More info needed, but in general.. NO!.. 2nd position loan's are much more risky for the lender and for that reason, they typically require a much higher credit rating.. having just filed BK will eliminate you from qualifying for a HELOC for many years after.. However, after 3 years, you can do a cash out refinance with FHA, and for conventional, you will need to wait 4 years. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
