can i get a mortgage with no credit even though I make $80000 a year?

FHA still technically offers a "build your credit" program, where you can use payments to companies that normally don't show up on a credit report to build credit. Utilities (gas, electric), car insurance, cell phones, etc. Most FHA lenders don't offer it anymore, but if you look around enough, you'll find one that does. My guess is the utilities were in his name too, so you may be out of luck for awhile.

there are bokers tghat can get this done seek out one from our panel...alternative credit can still be used
