Can I switch lenders since current one isn't communicating with me?

I am purchasing my first home which is a manufactured home that sits on land property. I am dealing with a not-so-great lender who has not been communicating with me. Locked in at 5.5% for a 30-year loan. Can I switch lenders at this point? by simplyamazing35 from Hampton, Florida. Jul 15th 2022 Reply

Sorry to hear you are having problems. YES, you can switch lenders if you wish. You are under no obligations to continue working with someone doing a poor job. Just understand the new person must start from scratch on everything, which may effect your closing date. You could also reach out to the Loan Officers company to try resolving the issue. They will probably assign you a new Loan officer. I lend for properties in MN, WI, IA, ND, SD. Find me at JoeMetzler.com, Cambria Mortgage, NMLS 274132
