Yes.. he can refinance on his own so long as he is on the deed.. if he isn't then there are some other guidelines that need to be addressed before he could qualify.. The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Once they see your complete scenario, they will be able to properly advise you as to how to go about this refinance.. but I caution you.. do not use the local "Big" bank, or one of those 50 states internet lenders or nationwide lenders...By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with numerous lenders, seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario. Because he has lower overhead, he can offer you lower rates and lower fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. As long as he owns the property with you it's fine.. they call it "continuity of obligation".. hope that helpsKevin

Yes, as long as he qualifies for the refinance based on his income, credit score, etc. alone.

If he is on the deed and can qualify on his own, you should not have any problems.

Assuming he qualifies on his own... No problem refinancing your mortgage. Talk to a local mortgage broker for more direction and assistance. www.SaintPaulMortgageBroker.com

He will have to be on the ownership deed by himself at the time the new loan closes. You can be added back after the loan closes.
