My wife was married previously. Her husband became ill and passed away. During his 6 year illness many medical bills were accrued, and they eventually had to file ch. 13. That was about 6 years ago. She was on a five year plan, during which all bills were paid in complete. Now, a year after finishing the bankruptcy we are hoping to refinance. The current loan rate is too high, and is adjustable. Also, we are looking to reduce our monthly payment. How possible is this? by brohtercountry from Nashville, Tennessee. Apr 14th 2010
