co-signer max?
is there a max amount of co-signers on a mortgage loan? my 4 roommates and I are looking into a 5 br/3 bath co-op in New York, NY. We would all like to be on loan and title. thanks! by yzheng23 from New York, New York. Mar 28th 2019

I have never had a lender limit how many borrowers can be on one loan.. but I mostly deal with conforming type loans.. but a co-op in New York, NY.. that's in the jumbo territory and every lender who offers financing in that range can have their own rules.. For this reason, it's best that you contact a local lender and ask them.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets.
