do VA loans have mortgage insurance

is mortgage insurance required for VA loans? if so is there a time when it can be waived such as at 80% loan to value like others? by d.larosa.nora7823708 from Cicero, New York. Jun 17th 2014 Reply

VA does not have any monthly mortgage insurance. VA does have a VA Funding fee that is financed into your loan amount unless the veteran is a disabled Vet - then the Funding Fee is waived. Any questions regarding VA or any other mortgage product can be directed to me at tliolos@paragonhomeloans.com.

VA is the best loan product available with no money down.. and there is no monthly mortgage insurance.. and if your a disabled vet, then there's no upfront funding fee either.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
