I cannot find anywhere online free so trying to avoid the hassle if I can. I think I'll only be able to get an FHA mortgage if that information helps by desireeniles78643108 from Weldona, Colorado. Feb 20th 2015
No.. Your lender will run your credit.. in fact, he cannot use any credit report that you provide.. he must run his own.. Most lenders will offer pre approvals at no charge which includes running your credit.. to get started, i would suggest you contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Once they see your complete loan profile, they will be better equipped to advise you properly. Also, by applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with many lenders with each one offering a different type of lending program. This is unlike the local bank which typically only has a few lending programs. The more lenders, the more lending options, and the more likely your scenario will be accepted.. Plus, the broker is experienced in seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario, and he has lower overhead which typically results in lower rates and fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. No, you don't need to buy your own credit report to get pre-qualified. Pulling a credit report is done by the lender and is standard for any pre-qualification. IF YOU THINK that there might be situations on your report, email me at yourloanpartnerforlife@live.com and I will give you a place for $1 that you can pull all three agencies, before you have mortgage one done.. this way you can fix anything first.. payoff balances, etc it is a soft hit , not like a mortgage loan report .. linda
Great day to you. When a lender does a prequal, they generally do not charge for the credit report, but it is an actual cost and they do have the ability to charge you for a credit report. I would be happy to assist you. I am a local lender here in Colorado. I do not charge for a credit report to do a prequal. Kay 720-670-0124
