Absolutely.. VA eligibility for reservists requires a minimum of 6 years of service.. so long as you were not dishonorably discharged, you should be ok.. Your lender can order a VA eligibility certificate, or you can go to VA.gov and order it yourself.. Good luck and thanks for your service!.. Yes, a VA loan is available for someone in the reserves. The base qualification is if you were in the reserves for 6 or more years. But if you actually saw active duty, then it is just 90-days of active duty. As you personally were in for 9-years, you should be just fine. Contact a local expert in VA loans for more assistance.
