I see alot of ads talking about locking in a rate. does rates change alot? by kosact203 from Crane, Montana. Oct 25th 2019
Rates change literally by the minute. A competent will assist you in assessing if the trend is up or down and assist you in determining the best time to lock and for how long to lock because the longer the lock the higher the cost and the rate. In a downward trending market shorter locks will get you the best rate or lower cost for the same rate. In an upward trending market you are given the security of locking the rate for a longer time so you will know your rate will not get worse.
rates normally go down slowly ..but can increase quickly ...rates change on a daily basis
