Hi,If you have had a previous eviction on your credit history, this might effect your rate. There are many other factors also that can offset the rate you are charged, such as how long ago it too place, what the circumstances were, etc.Dotty OwensMortgage BrokerNMLS# 70977C.U. If the eviction shows on your credit report this could of reduced your credit score and in in turn may effect the rate, but that depends on when and what type of loan you would be getting. If you are interested in buying, the first step is to contact a local loan officer and complete a loan application and have them review your credit report and finances. This way you can know for sure what you can and can't do. They will go over all of your available options so you will know what rate, payment and purchase price you can qualify for. Best wishes, Sean

If you have limited credit then the lender might verify you have paid your housing payments on time.. meaning they will contact your current landlord or property management company.. they can only report payments made 30 days or more late.. as far as past evictions,,, if they went through the court and there was a judgement awarded in the property owners favor, then the lender will know about it and the judgement would need to be satisfied prior to application.. Try contacting a local mortgage broker and let him look at your complete loan scenario, including your current credit report.. that should give him all the info he needs to properly advise you.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
