Does a home have to have central heating to qualify for an FHA mortgage loan?

In general, FHA does require heating.. All habitable rooms must have a functioning heat source (except in a few select cities with mild winters). To know if your city is exempt, you should contact a local mortgage broker and ask them.. they will be on top of the current guidelines for your area..
