A PUD ride is usually signed and witnessed by the person performing the loan document signing. If for some reason the rider was not included in the original loan package and the lender has sent you one for signatures, I would say that the answer would be no, it does not need to be witnessed nor notarized, UNLESS the lender is requiring you to get it witnessed or notarized. I could see where a Lender might want any Deed of Trust Rider that is being signed after the fact to be witnessed or notarized. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in Arizona, California, Georgia, Oregon, and Washington.
