No, the VA itself does not have min or max loan amounts but the lender that issues them will. The VA only insures the loans or backs them, they do not lend the money themselves.

Minimum no, maximum yes... as others stated, the lenders do have minimum loan restrictions... Also, because VA also restricts how much a veteran can be charged, and what fees they are allowed and not allowed to pay, some lenders have raised minimum's for VA loans... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

The VA does not but most lenders won't go under 40 or 50K. How much are you looking for?

The VA does not have a minimum loan amount, but lenders reserve the right to set a minimum loan amount. We are a direct lender in NY and we will go down to $60,000 for a VA loan. Email me some more info :PBotros@OmegaLoans.net
