An FHA home loan is for the purchase of a residence that you intend on occupying. I am not sure what you are looking to do by not listing it on your tax return. We are a lender who primarily lend in NJ. Give me a call and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding mortgages and related questions. Office # 908 933 0253 ask for Peter. Or you can email me directly pbotros@omegaloans.net . I look forward to hearing from you!

Your questions seem to dictate another concern. What is it?

FHA and IRS are two different divisions.. When you purchase with FHA financing, it's intended for primary residence only. Since it's your primary residence, it would be the same address you put on your tax returns.. Unless you move after the purchase. But as Joe suggested.. I think there is some sinister thinking going on here... and you don't want to commit loan fraud, so be careful... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

When you purchase a home using FHA financing, you sign an affidavit that you are moving into the home as your primary residence. When you file your tax returns, if you are claiming a different address as you primary residence, it would likely be caught. Although the IRS and FHA are separate entities, I have no doubt they are sharing info with each other. If you claim a different address as your residence on your taxes, you WILL be caught and better have a great explanation/reason. If the address on your return after the purchase is the same address as before the purchase, you could become the new poster child for fraud prevention. There are certain circumstances where the actual address on your tax return could be different. An example would be you use a Post Office Box to receive all your mail and you put it on your taxes. That would be OK, because everyone know you can't live in a PO Box. The bottom line is this. If you are not intending to buy the home AND move into it as your primary residence, don't call it a primary residence. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com 888-889-9950

First , your fha home loan is for a primary residence, and for you to get the mortgage interest credit , you do have to put on your taxes the correct address.. No, the irs does not speak with your mortgage company. but the mortgage company will send in a 4506T form to the irs. what are you trying to accomplish??

Yes you need to use that address for your taxes because if you do go to buy a home again it will be a red flag that you did not use that address for your taxes if it was your primary residence. If you want to discuss further please call me. Michelle 201-962-3555
