Many options available.. But you start by contacting a local mortgage bank/broker.. and apply with them. Once they see your complete loan profile, they can assist you with the best loan product based on your exact scenario.. There are programs for FTB's with zero down, 3% down, or 3.5% down.. And there also might be some local grant programs which might help even more.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
Have you ever considered the Nevada home as possible Grant? You can have a credit score as low as 640 for a 4% Grant, and with a high enough credit score you can get up to a 5% Grant. If you do the lowest down payment on FHA which is three and a half percent you will have an additional half a percent to put towards your closing cost. We run a flat rate of $1,290, plus your title escrow fees. I'd be more than happy to assist you. Give me a call at 702-683-3126. Chuck,There are lots of options. The main thing to know is the more money you put into the deal, the better your rate and payment will be. Programs like the less than 3% down payment with a grant or Home is Possible with a grant have higher rates than normal programs. The fact you have $10,000 gives you choices and as long as you qualify for all the options, you can decide which way to go later once you find a house. Call me and I am happy to talk you through it all. Brad 702-328-3043.
Hi Chuck, I'm local and have been lending in NV for the last 20 years. This is the biggest purchase and decision you'll be making so its best you interview the company and loan officer so you can find someone you trust. I think if we meet in person we can go over your options... I'm here if you have questions. Aundrea 702-326-7866
