First time to hear about mortgage porting
Regarding mortgage porting, it’s my first time hearing about this concept. I assume it’s going to be popular among people who want to move, but also keep their existing mortgages. I was wondering if many lenders are open to this option. by shirley357 from Atlantic Beach, Florida. Oct 11th 2022

I've heard a small smattering of the concept from time to time... Especially in other countries. I'm not aware of any place offer it in the United States, and for about a zillion different reasons, I never see it catching on with lenders. I Lend in MN, WI, IA, ND, SD.
