I was informed by my lender I have to have flood insurance, which I have. I had the floor insurance letter included in my closing documents when i signed my loan. I was sent a letter of default from my lender, Agricultural CU saying I've not submitted documentation and a certification from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is missing. They are charging me $250 in fines as well! Is this some type if scam? by hillct596 from Houma, Louisiana. Mar 5th 2019
More info needed, but in general. if your taxes and insurance has been added to your payment, then they should be collecting funds for flood insurance as well. Try reaching out to your lender and ask them.. This is likely to be an oversight on the lenders part..I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
