Here is my questionHow do you refinance a Freddie Mac loan if you get Error 64? On the Freddie Mac site it is explained as follow

There are several issues that can cause Error 64. You can call Freddie's hot line and they can tell exactly what is causing the issue.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. the original loan was done with a credit variance by the original lender, or, . The original loan was sold to Freddie with pool insurance instead of an individual MI policy. not eligible for a freddie mac refi

I've only seen those with Provident Funding so far. The Code 64 mean it was sold on a negiciated basis, or in english, they had a back end deal with Freddie, if the loan went back they had some kind of deal to buy it back or make it right with Freddie. They can only go back through the same lender to do that, but Provident does not do those!
