hi there: 620 is generally the minimum fico for most lenders out there. Some will offer 580 to 620 on FHA but only few. My bank is 620 but anything under 620 I have private investors that do not consider credit as a factor but basically equity, down payment & income. NMLS #754875 (Mike 703 505 5300)

Hi Rosa Vasquez. Depending on the loan program, the minimum FICO score can be as low as 600 and as high as 680. It sounds like you are at the very beginning steps of the home loan process so you would be best served to speak with a qualified mortgage loan originator. Buenas suerte!

620 mid score for all borrowers involved in the transaction is a good benchmark: VA requires a 620, USDA requires a 620, FHA requires a 620 and some conventional loans reuire a 620 min. Keep in mind there are more factors involved when being qualified for a particular mortgage program then just credit- If credit is an issue get with Mr. Convin as he has a greta no credit residential mortgage program.
