I could use some advise. My home has been on the market for 6 months and was recently flooded last week from hurricane Florence. I want to know what my options are. i just was allowed back into my property yesterday and i have been trying to reach my lender (Green Bay Mortgage) with no luck. I filed insurance clam with State Farm yesterday. But it will be some time before the adjuster is sent out. I am selling because I can not afford my mortgage any longer. I can use some advise as I am worried that the damage to my home will prolong this process and leave me homeless, going into foreclosure, because I can not afford these payments. by kingjoshi899 from New Bern, North Carolina. My suggestion is to continue to reach out to your lender.. it's possible they are overwhelmed by other home owners in your exact scenario.. Lenders are required by law to assist you in "Foreclosure Prevention".. so they have an obligation to give you options.. If you don't hear back from them soon, you can always file a complaint with the CFPB.. Once the complaint is received, you will definitely get a call back. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
