I live in Honolulu now but I know this is not an eligible area. Where could I get financed and do I make the income cut at 55 a year? by chaucerella78463944 from Honolulu, Hawaii. Nov 5th 2014
Here's the link to USDA's eligibility address checker.. http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/eligibility/welcomeAction.do?pageAction=sfp&NavKey=property@11 USDA does not discriminate regarding age, however you are restricted by your income.. I would suggest you contact a local mortgage broker and let them guide you to the area that best suits your needs.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Simply contact a local mortgage broker in your area. Give them a full application, and they will quickly determine what programs your qualify for, and how much house you can afford to buy. In MN, SD, and WI - visit www.Minneapolis-Mortgage.net
Sorry I am not familiar with Oahu, but we have several areas here on the Big Island - think about moving?
Hello, we do USDA loans here at Smart Money. USDA does not discriminate with age, so you are fine. You do however have to meet income restrictions which are based on the number of people in the household. If you would like to get prequalified with me, then give me a call at 447-1870. We are locally owned and operated, and the consultation is free!
Aloha I hope all is well. Easy way to to explain eligible areas is everything west of Exit 5 on the H1 including Ewa Beach, Kunia and everything west (Wainae, Kapolei, etc.) All of North Shore (everything north and west of Kaneohe). Kaneohe, Mililani and Schofield are NOT eligible areas. You can call me at 808-440-0936 and I can give you more details.
