My husband and I found our dream house in Tennessee. We sold our house in Florida and when we landed in Tennessee we knew the house was not as discussed with the realtor and we ended up not signing the closing documents. The FHA loan has been funded and is still sitting with the lender. My husband and I have found another home we would like to live in and we’re currently working with a different lender. How can I get released from the previous FHA loan? Will it affect the chances of us getting a new loan? The realtor has since re-listed the property in Tennessee, which made me assume that we have been released, but the lender part still remains. We were supposed to close on the new house this coming Friday. Do you guys have any advice about our situation? by twoflower771 from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jul 11th 2022
If you didn't sign, you didn't sign. There may be a little hiccup with FHA on the back side, but any good lender will be able to work through that issue for you, allowing you to get an FHA loan on a different home. I don't see a problem. I provide FHA home loans on properties in MN, WI, IA, ND, SD. Find more information at https://joemetzler.com/fha-loans-mn-wi-ia-nd-sd/ - Cambria Mortgage, NMLS 274132
