There are many questions that need to be answered before giving you a solid answer.... I suggest talking to a local NON-Bank Licensed loan officer. Give them a full application, and let them professionally review your situation.
Most likely a minimum of 3 years after the BK is discharged, and it could be much longer. Some on this site don't like banks but they typically have some of the better construction loans for building a home and they have both very good and not terribly good mortgage officers, just like in the non-bank community. I've been in both worlds - we are all trained with the same information, just in different ways. It doesn't matter where a good lender works.
PS> It also will depend a great deal on the overall strength of your application after the 3 years, whether you have re-established credit, amount of savings, debt ratio, etc. For 7 years after you've had a BK anything you do will be looked at much more closely than someone who has not, and any negative items on your credit will hurt you much more than otherwise would be the case.
Contact a local mortgage broker but you are most likely looking at at least a waiting period of 3 years.
There is a lot of missing info that is needed but keep in mind that the Filing date and Discharge date are completely seperate. Mortgage loans are determined by the Discharge date on the Discharge letter that will be submitted with your loan.
Minimum 3 years, maybe longer depending on circumstances
i do construction loans so that is why i need the information to give you a correct answer..
