Hi Louis, yes as long as you can obtain your certificate of eligibility. VA says to obtain a COE, you must have been discharged under conditions other than dishonorable..........WWII Qualifying Active Duty Dates 9/16/1940 to 7/25/1947............Minimum Active Duty Service Requirement of 90 total days...........If you have questions I would talk with a rep at the VA Seattle Regional Benefit Office.........You can also reach out to a local loan officer who would be able to help you get your COE and get you pre-approved for a VA home loan. Best wishes, Sean

Louis - thanks for the posting and question ....what are you needing / wanting to discuss ? is what you want to discuss the details of obtaining a VA loan ? if so - the hospital in Walla Walla might have some referrals they can provide ....but if they dont - your best best is to contact a lender in WA to ask the questions regarding loans and financing with a VA loan 'thanks for the service in WWII and feel to call or email me with any addditonal questions or needs Dave Skow WA MLO #278613 Eagle Home Mortgagew 206 714 9745 daveskow@eaglehm.com www.eaglehomemortgage.com/daveskow

Thank you for your service to our country. As long as you can get your certificate of eligibility for the VA loan and you qualify with your credit and income requirements you should be able to buy a home.

So long as your service was between 9/16/1940 to 7/25/1947, then you should qualify.. VA requires a Certificate of Eligibility, and most lenders can help you obtain that form If you don't have one.. I suggest you use a local mortgage broker, not the big bank or a credit union.. they have very limited lending programs, where as a broker has access to numerous lenders seeking out the best terms for your loan scenario.. understand that VA does not LEND money.. they only insure loans against default.. so each lender that offers VA financing is basically saying they will lend you money so long as the Government guarantees the loan incase you default.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
