I applied for a mortgage with my husband and during the process there were dishonest things revealed that disqualified us. If I apply on my own will this affect me?

Louisiana is a Community Property State. As such, each spouse has certain responsibilities for ALL liabilities of the community. I do most of by business in Community Property States and I can assure you there are programs out there that can allow you to apply and qualify on your own. I would say that at least 20 percent of my applications that start out joint, end up closing with only one spouse on the loan. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ At NEXA, we've got you covered.
