This I will say.. you can absolutely sue anyone for anything.. whether or not you would win is a completely different story.. Mortgage lenders are very cautious and have many legal disclosures drawn up by very competent attorneys.. These disclosures were part of the paperwork you signed and agreed to when the money was initially lent to you.. My guess is that they have covered all bases.. so if you do wish to sue, you will need to pay for your own attorney (it's unlikely you would find someone to represent you on a contingency).. and like anything in life, there are no guarantee's..
