If you live in Michigan call me 517-240-3015 I am certain we can raise your score to 620 in a short period of time. Most lenders require a 620 mid score to qualify for a VA Mortgage. Check the balances on your credit card if any are over 40% of the card limit pay them down. if you had a very recent collection pay it off, make sure it is very recent. These would be the first two things to check, and that could "POP" your score above 620

Credit score requirements vary in different states. It is generally 640 here in California but it could be possible to get a loan with a slightly lower score. However, you can always work to raise your score and apply once your score is higher. Call a local mortgage banker to get advice on what score you will need and what your can do to raise your score.
