Depending on your debt and assets and size of the loan you are looking for it sounds like you may be ready to start looking. The only way to be sure is to get with a local broker or mortgage lender and go over your entire situation, you may want to go with a broker as your scores are a bit on the low side and they will have a wider range of products to choose from.
OK, well you are on your way to the promised land, but with a 565 scores, you have a way to go before you get there. Keep doing what you are doing...
Hello, I can work with a 600 score for VA loans and in my experience, (depending on your specific credit profile) I am quite successful in getting scores up 30 to 40 points very quickly. Unfortunately, what needs to be done for a mortgage sometimes turns out to be a little different than what these credit repair companies have you do. For instance, some collections will lower your score if you pay them off. I would like an opportunity to go over your credit with you to make sure you apply your efforts in the right areas of your credit profile. I have access to free software enabling me to run unlimited scenarios for things we could do as well as how it would affect your score. In addition, I can use this software to project out in time so we can see what the effect will be in one month, or two, or more. Often I can get peoples score up significantly while we process their applications which results in a better rate at the settlement. I'm happy to help with the financing or just give you advice. If you need more information, or a competing rate quote call, email or use my live support button to discuss or get in touch with me. Keep working on building your credit score. 565 is still a bit low to find financing, but once you reach the 600 range you will find more options.
Your getting close, so hang in there.. Most lenders require a minimum of 640 or above, but there might be a few that will go as low as 600.. The best thing to do would be to consult with a local mortgage professional now, and let him look at your scenario.. when it comes to restoring credit, if you do it wrong, you can do more harm than good.. so it makes sense to be sure you doing things right along the way.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
