Judgments would have to be paid at or before closing.

Judgments have to be satisfied before any lender will allow you to get a mortgage.. The main reason is because any judgments that are public record, automatically become a lien against any real property you own.. past or future.. so it would need to be paid prior..I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. Most will require the judgement to be satisfied.

With rare exceptions, judgments must be paid before getting a mortgage loan. What type of judgment do you have?

No lender will allow you to get a mortgage with an outstanding judgment.. it would have to be satisfied or removed.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona.
