Having a manufactured home will not necessarily disqualify you for a HARP loan.. Your loan must be originated prior to June 2009 and be owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.. That's the first thing that necessary for a HARP refi... however, not all lenders will do manufactured housing.. so it's not HARP that prevents you from refinancing, it's the lenders being selective... .. Your property will as long as it shows to be owned by Fannie or Freddie. Then you will need to find a lender that will do them. Call a local broker as they will most likely have an option for you.
You can potentially qualify for HARP as long as your mortgage is backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Visit http://fanniemae.com/loanlookup/ and https://ww3.freddiemac.com/corporate/ to determine if either entity backs you loan. If they do, then find a lender that offers HARP. They can help you determine if you meet the other qualification requirements.
