the USDA office says they cannot contact me about loan only the lender and that they give the lender all the turnaround times and info when they first get the loan. it has been 2 weeks and I havent heard anything back. does anyone have any info on this stuff? by whitet_716_534 from Melbourne, Arkansas. USDA does not deal directly with the public.. they only deal with the lender... the current turn times nationwide is about 14 business days, or about 3 weeks.. the problem is you really don't know what day the file was actually submitted to USDA... so it could have been with your mortgage guy for a week before it was ever submitted.. bottom line is this.. USDA loans take a LONG time... so be patient.. You could call your loan officer.. it should not be a problem for him to give you a time line... Although USDA usually runs around two weeks, different areas are going to see longer turn times simply because of volume. You are just going to have to be patient. In this environment, the squeaky wheel does not get greased. I do USDA loans all the time. First the lender has to process and approve the loan. When they are done, it needs to go to the USDA office. On average, it takes about one week at the USDA office. www.MortgagesUnlimited.biz/USDA
Your Loan officer can call and find out what the turn times are.
All lenders have diferenct turn times, ours are 48 hours for approvals on USDA, contact the Loan Officer and if he is not returnning calls speak to his manager.
Have patience. Contact your loan officer.
Your loan officer can call - and they will advise the amount of time to review
Your loan officer should be able to give you that info.
Find a lender who as the ability to make their own decision
Your loan officer should be able to answer that question for you.

From what I see on the web site www.rurdev.usda.gov/MN-SFHG.html they are only up to the 8th of August This hole process started in July. I am about to lose my mind.
