I have been upfront and honest about my unpaid student loan

But I noticed the box was checked "no" on my application about this. If I sign the loan appication without correcting that I can get introuble for mortgage fraud? by sltolbert47884 from Lafayette, Indiana. May 23rd 2017 Reply

Hello, no just make sure you let them no it was an error. That is just a pre-application in most cases so once an application for you is actually started it will be corrected.

If you are "Ink" signing the documents, then you can check the correct box and initial.. if the application came to you electronically, you can ask them to correct it.. and resend... If they tell you just sign it as is.. you can still do it, but be sure you followup immediately with an email to your lender stating that "Section VIII, Question "F" should reflect "YES" ", and explain how you told your loan officer upon application that you are delinquent on student loans. This way you are covered.. I'm a preferred Lender with Arizona and California being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
